Limited Edition Scented Artwork — Paris 2026
Un sac plein de souvenirs is a scented artwork from the Mon Baudelaire collection, created for the exhibition Cartographies sensibles during Parcours Bijoux 2026 in Paris.
The work brings together photography, paper and scent. It carries Herbarium, one of my earliest fragrance compositions, which has accompanied my artistic practice for many years and is also present in selected jewellery pieces.
Like a botanical herbarium, the fragrance evokes what remains after something has disappeared. In this artwork, it finds a new context: a woman's handbag holding small objects, photographs and traces of memory. Scent becomes an invisible part of the image, inviting personal associations and narratives.
The fragrance is applied to a separate circle of handmade Khadi paper, produced from 100% cotton rag in South India. Its absorbent surface holds the fragrance and allows it to be experienced gradually.
